The Brewery Everything started in 2011, thanks to the collaboration of the brothers Marcello, Monica and Davide Ceresa. The name RETORTO was suggested by the topography of the valley where the brewery is located, and it’s ironically personified in a clumsy king who never disdains a pint of good beer.Determined by the strong aspiration of the brewer Marcello and a shared yearning for the ancient art of making beer, the three brothers aspire to revolutionize the italian manufacturing overview, testing new flavors and new sensations. The launch of the brand takes place at the Italia Beer Festival in Rome in May 2012. During the next years, Retorto stands out in the classifications of many festivals and fairs, obtaining many awards and prizes to the brewery and the beers. In response to an high demand, RETORTO increases both production and supplies, revealing new beers every year.

TAZMANIAC PACIFIC PALE ALE Light, bright orange coloured beer, in which newzealand and australian hops suggest the fragrances of lychee and passion fruit. IBU: 44   ALCOHOL: 4% vol Recommended temperature: 6°- 8°
LATTE PIU’ BLANCHE A refreshing beer, inspired by the Belgian white beers, with the added spiceyness of coriander and orange peel. Latte Più brings to mind Kubrick’s famous film Clockwork orange. The grapefruit peel and hops give it that delicate bitter taste. IBU: 18   ALCOHOL: 4,8% vol Recommended temperature: 6°- 8°
MORNING GLORY AMERICAN PALE ALE American pale ale, an amber coloured beer with a strong aroma of American hops with fruity flavours ranging from peach to mango; a medium bodied beer with a clear and persistent foam giving both sweet and bitter taste sensations. Mentioned as “Big Beer” in the 2017 Slow Food guide. IBU: 40   ALCOHOL: 5,6% vol Recommended temperature: 6°- 8°
BLACK LULLABY BELGIAN STRONG ALE Belgian strong ale with an unexpected aroma of soft and sensual vanilla and cocoa. You can taste hints of walnut. We suggest you try this beer with sweet dark chocolate or dried fruit. Its high alcohol content makes it an ideal beer to finish off an evening. IBU: 20   ALCOHOL: 8,3% vol Recommended temperature: 8°- 10°
SUCCO DI SUOCERA SOUR BEER A moderately sour beer, notably sapid; it recalls Berliner weisse and is obtained from the maturation of blanche beer Latte Più in barrels that in the summer hold Bloody Mario. ALCOHOL: 5,9% vol Recommended temperature: 6°- 8°
MALALINGUA BARLEY WINE A well matured, copper coloured, barley wine with an intense aroma of plums, plus gentle hints of cherries and almonds. A refined beer. IBU: 58   ALCOHOL: 12% vol Recommended temperature: 10°- 12°
MARSELLUS W. TRIPEL BARRICATA Now the tripel Vincent Vega is aged in 6 rhum barrels; this is a still beer, as not re-fermented. Your nose will predict what your mouth will confirm: the generous roundness given by old woods. IBU: 28   ALCOHOL: 9% vol Recommended temperature: 10°- 12°
DAUGHTER OF AUTUMN STRONG SCOTCH ALE A strong brown Scotch ale, full-bodied and well-structured. Its main characteristic is the malt which is gently smoked on peat. High alcohol content but well balanced by fewer hop addition. Perfect in combination with blue cheeses. An ideal companion for lonely nights. IBU: 25   ALCOHOL: 7,5% vol Recommended temperature: 10°- 12°
MALANIMA BARLEY WINE An evocative barley wine, aged for 12 months in a Vin Santo barrel. Annual production limited to 400 bottles. IBU: 58   ALCOHOL: 12,5% vol Recommended temperature: 12°- 14°
VINCENT VEGA TRIPEL Brassed in tripel style, this golden beer is quite dry and flowing...you must not suspect its alcoholic content. Hop bitterness and malt sweetness are well balanced, with mild spicy notes. IBU: 28   ALCOHOL: 8% vol Recommended temperature: 8°- 10°
MIA W. TRIPEL BARRICATA Our tripel Vincent Vega mellows in 4 barrels which lodged peated whiskey; this is a still beer, as not re-fermented. The smell is sweet, like white fruits, and the taste is raspy, owing to smoked whiskey. IBU: 28   ALCOHOL: 9% vol Recommended temperature: 10°- 12°
KRAKATOA INDIA PALE ALE A special red beer; an Indian pale ale with an intense and persistent bitterness, well-balanced by the caramel barley malts giving a slightly toasted taste. The American and continental hops provide an explosion of fragrances with licorice avours. IBU: 75   ALCOHOL: 6,5% vol Recommended temperature: 8°- 10°
ACQUA PASSATA HERBAL BEER Alluding to the classic vermouth we imagined the match between beer and a wise selection of plants and spices; this extraordinary liqueur can be served straight, on the rocks or mixed. ALCOHOL: 13,3% vol
BLOODY MARIO BLANCHE'N CHERRIES During the maturing process of LATTE PIU’ locally grown cherries are added, giving a fruity taste to the beer with moderate acidity. It re-ferments in the bottle. Seasonal product, only available in limited quantities. IBU: 20   ALCOHOL: 6,1% vol Recommended temperature: 8°- 10°
ASFALTO PACIFIC IPA This Pacific IPA has an amber colour; here the hops Galaxy, Pacifi jade and Topaz, used profusely both in boiling and in dry hopping, leave a lasting trace, able to stun taste buds. IBU: 60   ALCOHOL: 7,3% vol Recommended temperature: 6°- 8°
